This project was discovered when I came across a box of floor tiles at the back of the cupboard. I didn't see how the laser could possibly effect the surface but gave it a go anyway. To my delight I discovered that you can achieve a whole tonal range as the gun effectively glazes the surface when raster scanning. It was also discovered that Vector printing would produce a black outline. It is important that you get unglassed floor tiles as the effect is not noticeable on bathroom tiles.
