The Pen Press is designed as a project to enhance the assembly of the Pen Kits used in the penmaking project, it also would be at home used in the scalextric project for pressing the wheels into the axles.

Often it is all to easy to resort to hammers when trying to assemble items that have an interference fit but the control a press offers is not to be ignored.

The fact that an impact is not taking place often stops the component being damaged on the ends, hammers have their place.
