Whatever your thoughts are on Laser cutters in schools they are here to stay. Although the benefits of this system on manufacture are obvious, getting past the two dimensional nature of what they make is paramount if we are to produce designs that exceed the limitation of this process.

There are a number of short projects that can be undertaken with the laser cutter these projects are a quick inspirational dip into the production of engraved pictures.

When looking for a picture for the laser cutter it is often helpful to include the words "Line Art" in your search this helps to find artwork that has a more monochromatic nature which often gives better results.
