This project is again designed to show how CNC manufacture can result in an artifact that is strong stylish and relatively cheap to make. The idea being the unit is a multi purpose shelving unit. The initial intention was for the unit to hold hand tools i.e. files or small saws, enabling the teacher to perform a visual check that all the tools have been returned to their stations and that nothing is misplaced at the e nd of each lesson.

The legs have been made using the compound box structure used throughout the manufacture of the workbench and many other projects.

It also would serve as an information centre .

This would allow the class a small subject specific library.

The music department Could use it as a synthesizer stand for up to 4 Keyboards.
